Who Is Nurse Natalie?

Natalie is an Enrolled Nurse (AHPRA NMW0002603258) at DERM Skin Specialists in Mount Gravatt, on Brisbane's southside.

Her clinical background spans wound care, minor procedures and surgical assisting, so she understands how skin heals as well as how it looks. She brings that medical knowledge to skin treatment, with a nurse's eye for detail.

Natalie believes good results start with a proper conversation. She takes time to understand your skin, your concerns and your goals before recommending a plan, and she is honest about what's realistic for you.

Whether it's your first skin treatment or you've been coming to DERMSS for years, you can expect a calm, thorough and comfortable appointment.

What Happens at Your First Appointment With Natalie?

The short answer: your first visit is a complimentary nurse-led assessment of about 30 minutes. Natalie looks at your skin, talks through your goals, and explains your options and their costs before any treatment is booked.

At your assessment, Natalie will:

  • Ask about your skin history, skincare, sun exposure, medicines and any previous treatments.
  • Look closely at the areas that bother you, from texture and pores to skin laxity.
  • Explain which treatment suits your skin, what it can and can't do, and the recovery to expect.
  • Map out a plan with the likely number of sessions.
  • Confirm your costs in writing before you start, with prices on our fees page.

There's no obligation to go ahead on the day.

Will a Dermatologist Be Involved in My Care?

If you need one, yes. Natalie works within a dermatologist-led clinic. The skin treatments she performs are nurse-led, but if she sees a spot, rash or pigment that needs a medical opinion, she can bring in one of our specialist dermatologists: Dr Mitch Robinson, Dr Emily Shao or Dr Benny Yau.

That way your cosmetic plan and your skin health are looked after in the same building.

Do I need a referral to see Natalie?

No. You can book directly online or by calling 07 3487 1414.

Does Natalie do XERF?

Yes. Natalie performs XERF radiofrequency skin tightening. Whether it suits you depends on how much laxity you have, which she'll assess first.
