How Do I Book an Appointment?
The short answer: book online at any time, or call 07 3487 1414 during opening hours. You don't need a referral to book. A valid GP referral only changes what Medicare pays back on a specialist consultation.
Online booking runs through Healthengine. Choose the type of appointment you need, then pick a time with the clinician you'd like, or the first available. You'll get a confirmation by email or SMS, and our team may call you to check the details.
Not sure what to book? Call us. Our reception team and patient coordinator can help you choose the right appointment, arrange several concerns at once, or find an earlier time if a spot is changing fast. Most new patients are seen within two weeks.

Specialist dermatologist
For acne, eczema, psoriasis, rosacea, hair loss, pigmentation, skin cancer and laser planning, with Dr Mitch Robinson, Dr Emily Shao or Dr Benny Yau. From $395; no referral needed to book.
Skin check
A head-to-toe check with dermoscopy, with GP Dr Jimmy Wang ($195) or a specialist dermatologist (from $395). A biopsy can often be done at the same visit.
Nurse skin assessment
About 30 minutes with a Registered Nurse for sun spots, redness, texture or tone. A complimentary nurse-led assessment, and you leave with a written plan and the total cost.

Opening Hours, Parking and Access
We're at Unit 2, 1437 Logan Road, Mount Gravatt QLD 4122, on the ground floor of the SCURRS building. As you enter the car park, turn right and you'll find us. There's free onsite parking, plus street parking nearby.
- Monday to Friday: 8am to 5pm
- Saturday: 8am to 12pm, for existing UVB phototherapy patients
- Sunday: closed
- Access: fully wheelchair accessible
- Nearby: Holland Park, Upper Mount Gravatt, Mansfield, Sunnybank, Eight Mile Plains and Carindale, about 15 minutes' drive from the Brisbane CBD

How Do I Refer a Patient?
We welcome referrals for medical, surgical and cosmetic dermatology. Please address referrals to Dr Mitchell Robinson, Dermatologist.
Patients can also bring their referral to their appointment. A valid GP referral lasts 12 months from first use, and a specialist referral 3 months, unless the letter says otherwise.

Do I need a referral to book?
No. You can book our dermatologists directly, online or by phone. With a valid GP referral, Medicare pays back about $88 on a new specialist consultation; without one, about $21. Fees and Medicare.
How quickly will you reply to my message?
Our team usually replies within one business day. For anything urgent, such as a spot that is changing fast or bleeding, please call 07 3487 1414 instead.
Can I book by email?
Email us at info@dermss.com.au and we will get back to you, but online booking or a phone call is the quickest way to secure a time.
Do you accept walk-ins?
We work by appointment so everyone gets enough time. Please call ahead if you have an urgent concern. Visiting our clinic.
How much does a consultation cost?
Specialist consultations are from $395, a GP skin check is $195, and the nurse skin assessment is a complimentary nurse-led assessment. See fees.
How do I change or cancel an appointment?
Please call 07 3487 1414 as early as you can, so we can offer the time to another patient.
Is there parking?
Yes. There is free onsite parking at 1437 Logan Road; turn right as you enter the car park. Street parking is also available. Finding us.
Who do I call after a procedure if I'm worried?
Call the clinic on 07 3487 1414 during business hours. After hours, if it is an emergency, seek urgent medical care or go to your nearest emergency department.
