Meet Ting Ting Hu — Registered Nurse

Ting Ting is a Registered Nurse at Derm Skin Specialists with a focus on non-surgical facial treatments, working alongside specialist dermatologist Dr Mitchell Robinson.

Most of Ting Ting's week is spent in facial consultations. She assesses the face as a whole — structure, movement, volume and skin quality, and works with each patient to map out a staged plan over twelve months rather than treating one concern in isolation.

Where a prescription treatment is clinically appropriate, it is prescribed by a doctor following their own consultation with the patient, and Ting Ting works under Dr Robinson's oversight throughout.

She also performs a range of in-clinic skin treatments, including picosecond laser, LED, microneedling and chemical peels, and continues to extend her treatment scope with training and supervision inside the practice.

Ting Ting brings more than three years in cosmetic nursing to the role, after beginning her career in aged care, where she developed the patience and attentiveness she now brings to every consultation. 

She takes time to explain what a treatment can realistically do, what it can't, and what the alternatives are, so that every patient decides with a clear picture in front of them
